FIZFIT IN THE PARK
Everyone just LOVED *cough cough* the bear crawls. Some even asked for seconds!
This past Sunday, we headed over to Reservoir Park for the first official Studio 23 Outing, an outdoor Fizfit workout! We had a great turnout - not only was the weather fantastic, we also had more than 30 people drop by for a Sunday evening workout. The most common activity at the park is jogging, so more than a few heads were turned by the sight of a bunch of people doing bear crawls and striders! A few of the regulars at the studio brought their friends, husbands and even children to the park, making it a real workout for all ages.
After the workout proper, we spent some time chatting in the shade and relaxing; there are few better ways to finish off the weekend. Be on the lookout for our next outdoor Fizfit session!
Tired, sweaty and satisfied: a collection of post-workout smiles.

In other news:
There will be no open mats this Saturday (8th August), as I'll be in KL for Rodney King's seminar at KDTA.
Rodney will also be coming here to do a seminar at Studio 23 on the 13th of August! He will be covering CMD / MMA training.
Rodney King is the director and creator of the Crazy Monkey Defense Program, and is also a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Please note that on that evening there will be no Fizfit or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes.
